in light of what's missing

This is really Supernatural fan-art in disguise because it was inspired by Cas' thoughts in The Man Who Would Be King. I found his struggle to navigate murky waters very powerful and universal; he may have made some missteps along the way, but I still admire his determination and courage. ( I want my Cas back!!!)
